VenueLyst
Venuelyst was a startup project focused on creating a website and mobile app that made it easier for users to find and compare venues and vendors for any type of event. Each venue and vendor had a dedicated profile featuring photos, details, amenities, and ratings, giving users a clear way to evaluate options side by side. Drawing on my experience in visual and experience design, I created an approachable, modern interface that balanced visual appeal with usability.

Challenge
Event planning is often overwhelming, with information scattered across multiple sites and inconsistent presentation of venue details. Users needed a single, trustworthy platform to quickly explore, filter, and compare venues and vendors without being buried in cluttered layouts or incomplete information.
Solution
I designed the end-to-end platform experience for both web and mobile, focusing on clarity, imagery, and intuitive workflows:
Venue & vendor profile pages with rich imagery, detailed amenities, and ratings for easy side-by-side comparison.
Search and filtering tools that allowed users to quickly narrow results by location, size, price, and features.
Responsive layouts with a clean, modern design system that made the interface feel approachable and consistent.
A balance of visual storytelling and functional hierarchy, ensuring the platform was engaging but never overwhelming.
