VenueLyst
Venuelyst was a startup project focused on creating a website and mobile app that made it easier for users to find and compare venues and vendors for any type of event. Each venue and vendor had a dedicated profile featuring photos, details, amenities, and ratings, giving users a clear way to evaluate options side by side. Drawing on my experience in visual and experience design, I created an approachable, modern interface that balanced visual appeal with usability.

Challenge
Event planning is often overwhelming, with information scattered across multiple sites and inconsistent presentation of venue details. Users needed a single, trustworthy platform to quickly explore, filter, and compare venues and vendors without being buried in cluttered layouts or incomplete information.
Process & Solution
The VenueLyst project was grounded in human-centered discovery and iterative design to simplify how event planners searched for and selected venues. I began with user research to understand the planning process, then used storyboards and prototypes to reimagine the search, booking, and review experiences. Frequent feedback cycles informed both functionality and visual direction, ensuring the product evolved alongside user needs.
The final design delivered a cohesive end-to-end platform for web and mobile that balanced clarity and inspiration. It featured rich venue and vendor profiles, intuitive search and filtering tools, and a modern, responsive layout built on a clean design system. Each decision supported the goal of making venue discovery more visual, efficient, and enjoyable for planners.
