Ask DOSS
Ask DOSS set out to transform real estate search by replacing clunky filters and forms with natural voice and text queries. As design lead, I focused on creating a frictionless conversational experience that would feel intuitive for buyers, sellers, and agents alike.

Challenge
The real estate market is saturated with complex search tools that overwhelm users with filters, jargon, and rigid workflows. DOSS needed a scalable, intuitive solution that translated ambiguous human questions (“show me homes near good schools under $400K”) into actionable search results, while still feeling approachable for non-technical users.
Process & Solution
For Ask DOSS, I led the end-to-end design of a mobile and web platform built to connect buyers, sellers, and agents through conversational search. The process began with defining user personas, mapping customer journeys, and developing MVP prototypes to validate clarity and speed. Frequent testing and analytics reviews helped refine how users interacted with the platform and guided which features delivered the most value.
The final experience featured a natural chat-style interface that let users speak or type queries seamlessly. Supported by a flexible design system with voice recognition states, fallback handling, and smart suggestions, the design created an intuitive and engaging way to explore real estate listings while keeping the focus on conversation and discovery.
