Ask DOSS
Ask DOSS set out to transform real estate search by replacing clunky filters and forms with natural voice and text queries. As design lead, I focused on creating a frictionless conversational experience that would feel intuitive for buyers, sellers, and agents alike.

Challenge
The real estate market is saturated with complex search tools that overwhelm users with filters, jargon, and rigid workflows. DOSS needed a scalable, intuitive solution that translated ambiguous human questions (“show me homes near good schools under $400K”) into actionable search results, while still feeling approachable for non-technical users.
Solution
I designed a conversational interface where users could speak or type queries naturally, supported by a robust design system that included voice recognition states, fallback/error handling, and smart suggestions. Through iterative prototyping and user validation, we streamlined the experience into a clear, chat-style flow that reduced friction and encouraged exploration.
Impact
Simplified complex real estate searches into natural, human-like conversations.
Reduced user frustration and cognitive load compared to traditional filter-heavy search tools.
Helped position DOSS as a next-generation PropTech platform, attracting users and industry partnerships.
Deliverables
High-fidelity prototypes showcasing end-to-end conversational flows.
A scalable design system covering voice, chat, and error/fallback interactions.
Interaction guidelines for natural language queries, multi-step results, and user onboarding.
